Hold onto your hats, we're in for a bumpy ride!
	Stuck for ideas for your next corporate function? Want to introduce some team-building exercises but not sure what to do? Or just want to throw one hell of a Christmas party? At HireThings we now have New Zealand's only Formula 1 Racing car simulator ! Seated in an actual petrol-powered car in front of a life-sized screen and travelling at speeds of over 300kph, this ride takes virtual reality to the next level.
With split-second timing, real time crashes and car-tuning, you can race against your friends or against artificial intelligence vehicles. Throw in the authentic F1 uniforms, personalised racetrack billboards and even branding of your own vehicle, and you'll feel like you're really racing for the F1 title!
Christmas is coming!
Did you know that it's only three months til Christmas? That means it's not long till we need to start planning our Christmas parties and buying Christmas presents. If you need to organise a Christmas event, our list of venues at HireThings is growing by the day. Among our new school halls for hire, we also have boat cruises, Massey University facilities and even rooms for hire at the Zoo!
If you want to plan a Christmas party that's a little out of the ordinary, check out our range of karaoke systems, portable bars , giant party games like Twister and pillow fighting, and even a giant spa!
Helping our schools raise funds
Here at HireThings, we are always looking for new and innovative ways to give back to the community. We are aware of and appreciate the fantastic work that our schools are doing in New Zealand, despite the shoe-string budgets that most of them have to operate on. It is a constant struggle for them to meet the needs of an ever-growing population while absorbing crippling inflation rates.
	Our latest initiative is to help New Zealand schools raise extra funds by listing their hall for hire completely free of charge - all listing and success fees will be donated back to the school. This gives each school a chance to raise extra funds without spending any money whatsoever. We also have an effective and efficient system to streamline the booking process and make it super-easy for schools to take venue bookings.

Wedding fever
	If you're planning on saying "I do" very soon, Hire Things can help you plan your special day. We can provide the limo, the decorations , the photographer, the dress and even a horse and carriage ! Or if you prefer to have someone else organise everything for you, we have a fantastic selection of wedding planners and coordinators.
If you're going to the wedding show in Auckland on 16-17 September, keep an eye out for the Hire Things team. We'll be milling about and chatting to all the new brides-to-be, spreading the word about Hire Things!
